About This Project

This was the second installment in the RIVET field campaign and it took place at the mouth of the mighty Columbia River in the Pacific Northwest. While the goals from RIVET I remained, the scale of this macrotidal inlet created a whole new set of challenges. Instead of using our 30’ catamaran SPEC, we had to transfer our sampling scheme to the bow of the R/V Point Sur. The experiment ran from May – June 2013.
