image: Water surface topography as measured by polarimetric camera
Ocean surface waves are of fundamental importance to physical air-sea exchange processes. Optical techniques provide access to measurements of wave dynamics ranging from meters to millimeters in spatial scale. These observational capabilities allow for the validation of high resolution, phase-resolved wave models.
