Peisen Tan is a first-year Ph.D. student working under the supervision of Professor Brian Haus. He obtained his B.Sc. in Physical Oceanography from Ocean University of China in 2019. His research focuses on air-sea momentum transfer and coastal resilience. Combining experimental data and numerical models, his research will help protect the coast of South Florida and provide people there with a safer tomorrow.
